Intro to Any Dream Will Do
"Intro to ADWD" is a cost effective introduction to one of our most popular programs! This class is a great way to introduce the performing arts to your child or teen with special needs. By focusing on music theatre style movement, acting, and performance, participants will explore social skills, culminating in a inviting and inclusive performance!
G.R.O.W. (Girls Reaching Our World)is an awesome 9 week summer social music group focused on GIRL POWER! We’ll make music and build friendships as we explore empowerment, self-advocacy, and social skills. This small group lends itself interactive sharing and creativity for your adolescent or teen with special needs!
Teen Rock Band
This group is designed to be a social and musical outlet for teens currently in instrument lessons, or with prior musical experience. Working as an ensemble, our teen rock band learns the importance of teamwork and peer support. Instruments featured in this band are drums, bass guitar, piano, electric guitar, vocals, and auxiliary percussion. The band will learn classic rock songs from artists such as Journey and The Beatle and perform at least once per semester!
I think we can all agree, sometimes you just need to jam out. Join us for this 10 week summer adventure into BUCKET DRUMMING! This class will culminate in a performance reminiscent of STOMP and Blue Man Group. Participants will drum, dance, interact, and improvise as they work on executive functioning skills and socialization!
Camp CreARTive is our fine and performing arts camp for children with special needs aged 7 – 22 years old. At Camp CreARTive, campers will spend their day in art classes, music therapy sessions, dance and performing arts groups, and even a music and art appreciation class! Camp will be led by an Adaptive Art teacher, a Music Therapist, an Occupational Therapist, a Speech Therapist, and a Recreational Therapist. Our goal is to provide an artistic avenue for children to learn and grow!
