CBS 46 featuring our Giving Tree program! A program piloted by The George Center and highlighting Arbor Terrace at Crabapple and The Goddard School! Research shows that intergenerational programs benefit everyone involved. For young people, it provides a positive view of aging, making them less likely to stigmatize the elderly. For older adults, it can reduce the likelihood of depression and social isolation, improve communication, and strengthen feelings of self-worth.
