Singing With Parkinson's

Research in both music therapy and neuroscience has shown that music synchronizes neural activity, and can improve patients cognitive motor, sensorimotor, and speech/language symptoms. Our Parkinson's Choir is designed by Neurologic Music Therapists to address limitations and struggles that occur with Parkinson's Disease and culminates in a staged community concert! This therapeutic group is FREE and open to anyone with a Parkinson's diagnoses. Register TODAY as space is limited!

Bucket Drumming

I think we can all agree, sometimes you just need to jam out. Join us this summer for a 9 week adventure into BUCKET DRUMMING! This class will culminate in a staged performance reminiscent of STOMP and Blue Man Group. Led by Hannah Rhinehart, LPMT, MT-BC and Kolby Koczanowski, LPMT, MT-BC, participants will drum, dance, interact, and improvise as they work on executive functioning skills and socialization!

Camp CreARTive

At Camp CreARTive, campers will spend their day in art classes, music therapy sessions, dance and performing arts groups, and even a music and art appreciation class! Camp will be led by an Adaptive Art teacher, a Music Therapist, an Occupational Therapist, and a Speech Therapist, and a Recreational Therapist. Our goal is to provide an artistic avenue for children to learn and grow. Space is limited!

The Giving Tree Intergenerational Preschool Program is located at a a local facility for adults in assisted living and memory care units, along with attendance from a local preschool. The research shows the vast benefits for both the children and their 'grand-friends!' This performance is the culmination of a semester of relationships and music created between these two populations and is hear-warming to experience!
