CREATE This Summer at GCMT!

I think we can all agree, sometimes you just need to create. It’s one of the reasons why music therapy works. It is therapeutic to express yourself freely. For those that have difficulty expressing themselves verbally, socially, or in an emotionally appropriate manner, music therapy is a non-invasive and accessible way to create!

At The George Center our mission is to provide a creative approach for individual growth so it was only natural to want to provide additional summer opportunities for our clients to create. In addition to our regular music therapy sessions, groups, therapeutic music lessons and Kindermusik classes, we are offering Camp CreARTive, our Summer Bucket Drumming Group, and On the Road Camp (a Kindemusik program). Please check out our summer classes and camps below and feel free to email us or call us if you have any questions! We hope CREATE with YOU this summer!

As always you will be seeing our team of therapists providing music therapy this summer for FOCUS Camp Team, FOCUS Camp Hollywood, FOCUS Camp Infinity, Aerie Experiences, Lekotek LekoMusic, Kate’s Club, Support Services, Corrigan Care’s Mother’s Morning Out, and Special Olympics Georgia 2015 Summer Games

On the Road Kindermusik Adventure Camp-Ages 4-7

“On the Road!” was inspired by children’s love of family adventures and the lifelong memories they build. It re-creates the cozy delight of family travels: singing rounds in the car, making up songs harmonizing, playing “I Spy”, finding shapes in the clouds, roasting s’mores exploring the woods and the shoreline, rainy day activities like puzzles, card games, and crafts, and close encounters with 4 legged creatures, allowing each child to create her own private, magical world of imagination and play!

Where? The George Center, 12060 Etris Road, Suite 200, Roswell
