The “Any Dream Will Do!” Performing Arts Group will create community by learning about music, movement, and acting through social games and interactions, improvisation, and the expressive arts. It will culminate in a staged performance showcasing each and every participant! Don’t miss this exciting and fun opportunity for your child!
The music therapists at The George Center work to achieve a multitude of objectives for children with special needs. Exploration of music, movement, and drama facilitates personal growth in areas of:Throughout the year (for additional ticketing fee) class members will be invited to participate in several performing arts events, such as drum circles and field trips to the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and the Fox Theatre. The class will be taught by board-certified music therapists with extensive training in musical theatre performance.
The class runs from September 6th, 2016 to April 18th, 2017. Classes takes place on Tuesdays, 6:00 – 7:30 PM at The George Center.
12 classes each semester/24 classes TOTAL not including the dress rehearsal and performance.
Dress Rehearsal – Wednesday, April 19, 2017
Performance – Friday, April 21, 2017
Classes will not meet on the following dates:
Enrollment in the class costs $1200/student. A $150 non-refundable deposit is due upon class registration. $525 is due by September 11th, with the remaining $525 due by December 18th. Sibling discounts are available!
“Any Dream Will Do!” fees can be billed to the fiscal agent that manages your NOW/COMP waiver funding as Community Access Group under Cultural Programs and Community Support!
